2017 Market news

Market News and 2017 outdoor Market Vendor Application Form.

Hi everyone, we have some news regarding the Miller Crossing Farmers’ Market outdoor season for 2017.

The market opening day will be on Sunday May 28, 2017 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. From there on the market will be open every Sunday until the end of September. We are expecting this year to be our best yet. The market is really growing and the community support is awesome!

We are very excited to announce that the Miller Crossing Farmers’ Market is in the process of becoming an Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market.
Please visit the Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market Association website for more information about the Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market Association. We will be letting everyone know when this is finalized. Overall this process will grow the market in the right direction and offer the community a better farmers market.

This Sunday April 9, will be the last day for the Indoor Miller Crossing Farmers Market. We will be open from 11am to 3pm.
As we are currently working on transitioning the market for the outdoor season, and most vendors are preparing for the outdoor markets slowly also.

Our Farmers’ Market

Miller Crossing Farmer's Market is serving the North-East area of the city. We are in our third year of operation. The market is open all year round. Starting May 28 2017 we move outdoors for the summer season. We are open Sundays from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Our goal is to provide a marketplace that encourages the local community to support a “Buy Local” philosophy and at the same time provide access to high quality, fresh, nutritious, locally-grown produce in a convenient location.
